Welcome to Year 4!  We are Class 7 and Class 8.  Our teachers are Mrs Clamp and Miss Hunter.  We are supported by: Mrs Jones, Mrs Hudson, Mrs Fox, Mrs Buckmaster, Mrs Hook, Mrs Taylor, Mrs Murphy, Miss Muir and Mrs Farrier.

In Year 4, we aim to build on the knowledge and skills from the previous year groups whilst also learning new elements. We cover a range of historical and geographical topics throughout the year learning many exciting things in a variety of practical ways. We aim to foster a love of learning through exciting, practical investigations that lead us to ask further questions to develop our understanding of the world.

We prepare our Year 4 children for the Multiplication Tables Check in June. This is a gradual process throughout the year building their confidence and speed to recall all times tables.
