Year 6
Welcome to Year 6! We are Class 11 and Class 12. Our teachers are Mrs Edgeworth, Mrs Hall and Mr Gratwohl.
We are supported by: Miss Ellis, Mrs Hook, Miss Davie, Mrs Petsa and Miss Whipp.
In Year 6 we aim to prepare the pupils for the next stage of their school journey. We focus upon teaching independence and responsibility through a range of strategies. Our pupils have the opportunity to take on roles of responsibility throughout the school.
In Year 6 children have the opportunity to go on our residential trip to Woodlands in October each year. This supports the children to develop their teamwork, independence and self-belief.
The aim is for our pupils to “be the best that they can be” and focus upon self-improvement, resilience and developing their growth mindset.
