The intention of the French Curriculum at Bure Park Primary School is that pupils develop an interest in learning another language and an awareness of cultural differences in other countries.

The curriculum is designed to progressively develop children’s skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing and for them to gain, use and apply an increasing bank of topic-based vocabulary.
