Remote Learning

In March 2021, all our classes returned to full-time education following the previous Covid-19 closures. Although we hope that the majority of our children will now have an uninterrupted experience, there is the possibility that your child may be at home for an isolation period (advice changes often). We have therefore put in place a plan for remote learning so that our children may continue with their education, if well enough to do so. This meets the expectations set out in the DfE guidance ‘Remote Education Support’

We use Google Classroom for our Remote Learning provision for Years 1-6. Please contact the office if your child does not have a login. Please contact the school if your child has an isolation period and your child's class teacher will signpost you to the work. Our remote learning is also supplemented by Oak National Academy.

Here are some of the feedback comments from our parents on the remote provision at Bure Park:

"I wanted to write to say thank you for everything that you and your staff are doing at the moment.  The team are doing a really great job providing the remote learning.  _________is enjoying the videos and they mean that he can work through the tasks at his own pace and with independence.  The timely feedback he gets is really important too and help him to feel that it is valuable work.  We are also appreciating the phone calls home which help us to still feel a part of the school community."

"We just wanted to say thank you for your efforts during this latest lockdown. The use of Google Classrooms looks really good, from what we've seen. and we hope no-one underestimates the challenges of trying to teach in this way."

"You are all doing a fantastic job and we are so grateful for all your hard work.  Stay safe everyone!"

"Firstly & most importantly, thank you & HUGE well done for creating the on-line learning portal at such short notice. You really are doing a fantastic job."

"A huge thank you for the fantastic content you’ve provided. It’s evident that so much time, care and energy went into making this happen. It was lovely to see your faces and hear your voices. Much appreciated!"
