Welcome to Year 4!  We are Class 7 and Class 8.  Our teachers are Mrs Surman and Miss Castle.  We are supported by: Mrs Petsa, Mrs Blundell, Mrs Hobbs, Mrs Jones & Miss Hobson.

In Year 4, we aim to build on the knowledge and skills from the previous year groups whilst also learning new elements. We cover a range of historical and geographical topics throughout the year learning many exciting things in a variety of practical ways. We aim to foster a love of learning through exciting, practical investigations that lead us to ask further questions to develop our understanding of the world.

We prepare our Year 4 children for the Multiplication Tables Check in June. This is a gradual process throughout the year building their confidence and speed to recall all times tables.
